My little cavoodle, Lucu, sadly broke some of her teeth and as her mom, I was just beside myself! After my local vet discovered this during a regular checkup, they recommended Dr. Buelow for a dental consultation. From the moment I walked into Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery, I was greeted with a warm smile and kindness from Kim at the front desk. It’s rare to find such amazing customer service and professionalism; Kim calmed all my worries and concerns. I was escorted to an exam room where I awaited the arrival of Dr. Buelow. Before I could even say hello, she came in the room and said, “I see Lucu looking at me”…she already knew my dog’s name and made me feel not only at ease but a priority and her main concern. We discussed Lucu’s procedure together; I received patience through all my questions, understanding of my concerns, kindness and assurance as I was even crying a bit worried about what was to come. After the consultation, I left the office knowing my little Lucu would be well taken care of with Dr. Buelow and her team. A few weeks later, the procedure date arrived and although I was quite nervous, Dr. Buelow and her staff again made me feel right at home. During the procedure, Kim and Jenn came out to greet me in the waiting room several times with updates and to walk me through how Lucu was feeling and responding. After the procedure, I was brought to an exam room where Dr. Buelow greeted me and reviewed the details of the surgery and how well things went. Jenn and the rest of the team even spent time going through all of Lucu’ x-rays, discussing more details and providing additional clarification of the surgery. Finally, my little Lucu was brought out to me – a little groggy, but greeting me as always with her wagging tail and lots of kisses. She was a strong patient and I can’t thank Dr. Buelow and her team enough for taking such good care of Lucu and of me.
