I am SO happy and thankful to Dr. Buelow and her team. My 7 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel had 8 teeth left after several yearly dental cleanings and extractions. Her vet thought all of her remaining would have to be extracted this time, but felt more comfortable with a dentist performing the procedure as the teeth she had left were the larger bottom teeth, which present more of a risk when extracting. I was initially nervous to take her somewhere new but from the start of the consult, I knew she was in good hands. Dr. Buelow and her team are so kind and eagerly answered all of my questions. And Kim, who scheduled my appointments, was SO welcoming and friendly. The day of my dog's procedure, they called several times (as they said they would) with updates throughout the day. I have no doubt that they paid more than enough attention to my pup before, during, and after her procedure. They provided copies of the x-rays and some dental charts at the end. IF my dog did have more teeth that needed tending to, I would happily take her back to Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery.... and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others!!!

Trickseigh

I was very, very pleased with my recent experience at Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery (ADOS). I am a veterinarian and am capable of performing oral surgery but I chose to come to ADOS with my sweet old lady Labrador, Trickseigh, because I wanted to do the absolute best for her. Trickseigh has more than one health issue and we have had a scare under anesthesia previously. I knew that a board certified veterinary dentist would be able to make the best recommendations and to carry them out in the most time efficient manner possible. Additionally, I knew that there were veterinary cardiologists and ER doctors in the same building that could jump in to help if needed. From start to finish, I was very impressed with the level of professionalism, courtesy, skill, and kindness of the staff. Kim was diligent in collecting records from Trickseigh's previous veterinary hospitals. She also was great at reaching out to me before and after the procedure to confirm appointment times and check in to see how Trickseigh was doing after her procedure. Michaela, one of their licensed veterinary technicians, was excellent at keeping me informed the day of Trickseigh's procedure. I elected to stay onsite during the procedure (although I could have chosen to leave if I had wanted) and they set me up in an unused exam room with WiFi so that I could get some work done. Michaela helped me know what to expect for the day and checked in on me multiple times during the procedure to tell me how things were going and what dental extractions they recommended based on their exam and radiograph findings. At the end of the day, she also helped me to get Trickseigh into the car. Dr. Buelow came in to speak to me after the procedure to review what had been done and to answer any questions. She is a genuinely kind and caring veterinarian! Again, I can't say enough positive things about my recent experience at ADOS. They provide a level of compassion and customer service that is unparalleled. I will definitely recommend them to my clients. Dr. Coppage

Honey Bunny

The folks at ADOS were fantastic! Kim at the front desk replied to all of my calls and emails with a speed I haven't experienced in a LONG time. Dr. Buelow and her staff were wonderful during my meeting with them. I went to them after learning from my primary vet that our cat needed at least 7 or 8 teeth removed. I reviewed Dr. Buelow's recommendations with our vet and he suggested we go with ADOS. We were pretty certain that was going to be our choice, but our vet confirmed that in this case, having to remove all of our cat's teeth, using Dr. Buelow, who has this as her board certified specialty, it would be done quicker and with more expertise. That certainly was our experience. Bunny has been SO much happier since (and so have we)!  She has turned into such a playful cat! Thank you to everyone at ADOS!!  - Adair Gellman

Dexter

This clinic is a 10 out of 10!  If we could rate higher, we would! We contacted Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery for a second opinion when we learned our 9-year-old cat Dexter had feline resorptive disease.  From our first interaction, we spoke to Kim who was attentive and helpful both over the phone and in person. This facility is busy but you wouldn't otherwise know it because they are highly efficient and their follow-up is like nothing we've ever experienced.  It's immaculate and very well run.  Dr. Buelow and her vet tech were also fantastic.  They took time to explain the treatment plan in detail and answer all our questions and then proceed to phone us multiple times with updates during our cat’s surgical procedure.  The entire staff at this clinic are so professional and on top of it, we will be bringing all of our furry family to this clinic for their dental needs.  If you love your animals and want the absolute best care and a solid piece of mind while they undergo a medical procedure, then this is the place for you. (The hand-drawn welcome sign in our exam was a nice touch and put us immediately at ease!)

Ranger

When Ranger broke his tooth, I wanted an experienced veterinary dentist to manage his injury. Dr. Buelow was highly recommended. So we drove to Virginia from New York. The doctor and staff were so informative and friendly that it was easy to leave Ranger in their care. As an active golden retriever, I was thrilled to have him heal so quickly and return to playing the games he loves best! My sincerest thank you to the entire staff for fixing my boy and for taking such good care of both of us. - Blanche Wisniewski

Hunter

Dr. Buelow and her entire staff were wonderful! Hunter had to have all of his teeth removed and Dr. Buelow and her staff treated him like he was one of their own. They also called me and kept me informed of how he was doing during the surgery. He has had his post surgical check up and is doing great now!
